Like any good artist, I often use an artist’s model. Drawing anything from imagination is challenging. So most artists use reference photos to help them accurately draw gestures, hands, expressions, props, backgrounds, etc. I’ll often find suitable reference photos with a quick Google image search. When I need something specific, such as holding a chainsaw at a specific angle, I’ll employ a model.


But since I’m a poor cartoonist, the only artist’s model I can afford is myself.
