Outrage(ous) distractions

This is all feeling very familiar

The election was just two weeks ago, and yet we’re already getting bogged down in the familiar chaos that swirls around 45. It’s easy to get outraged when the Tangerine Tyrant announces he wants to make accused pedophile Matt Gaetz Attorney General or put RFK Jr.’s brain worm in charge of America’s health programs. While we should be concerned by those actions — as they could be dangerous to us all — it’s easy to get distracted by whatever bullshit 45 pulls in any given minute. We have to remember that there are more devious plans taking shape in the shadows, as many of the potential members of 45’s new administration have direct ties to Project 2025, which aims to fundamentally reshape the U.S. government.
