This Saturday will see millions of people pour onto the streets to protest Donald Trump and his authoritarian regime. Trump wants to project spectacle and strength by having a military parade, similar to those held in North Korea and Russia. But just like Kim and Putin, Trump is a small, cowardly despot who relies on symbols of strength rather than actually being strong. He and his regime want to rule over Americans with an iron fist, hoping to cower us with ICE’s Gestapo tactics and his deployment of troops to Los Angeles. This is just the beginning of his terror tactics.
We must stand up to Trump. We have no other recourse.
